Privacy Policy

Trav Media Group LLC, doing business as Trav & Company ("Trav & Company," "we," "us," or "our").

Effective Date: July 7, 2026

Last Updated: July 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit our website, contact us, subscribe to our communications, or when we contact you as a prospective client. It also describes your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Please read this policy carefully. By using our website or providing us with your information, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

Trav Media Group LLC is a Florida limited liability company operating as Trav & Company, a local SEO, web design, and digital marketing agency.

For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), we act as a data controller for the personal information we collect about website visitors, subscribers, and prospective clients. When we perform services for our clients (for example, building or hosting a website, or managing marketing that involves their customers' data), we typically act as a data processor on that client's behalf; that processing is governed by our separate services agreement or Data Processing Addendum with the client, not by this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in the following ways.

2.1 Information you provide to us

  • Contact and lead forms. When you submit a form on our website, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, website URL, and the contents of your message.
  • Newsletter and email subscriptions. When you sign up for our emails, we collect your email address and any name or preferences you provide.
  • Client onboarding. If you engage our services, we collect the information needed to deliver them, such as business details, billing information, account credentials you choose to share, and project materials.
  • Correspondence. If you email, call, or message us, we keep a record of that communication.

2.2 Information about prospective clients

Trav & Company conducts business-to-business outreach. We may obtain business contact information — such as a business name, business email address, business phone number, website, and publicly listed role or industry — from publicly available sources and licensed data providers in order to introduce our services.

We describe this practice, and your right to opt out, in Section 7 (Prospect Data and Outreach).

2.3 Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • IP address and approximate location;
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system;
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, and time spent on the site;
  • Analytics and advertising identifiers.

See Section 5 (Cookies and Tracking Technologies) for details and your choices.

2.4 Sensitive information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as government identifiers, health data, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, or religious beliefs). Please do not submit such information to us through our forms.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the information or quotes you request;
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services to clients;
  • Send you newsletters, marketing, and service updates you have requested (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • Conduct business-to-business outreach to prospective clients;
  • Operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website;
  • Process payments and manage our business records;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. How We Share Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers ("processors"). We share information with vendors who perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, form and email delivery, analytics, advertising, CRM and outreach tools, and payment processing. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners. We use third-party analytics and advertising technologies (see Section 5). Depending on your jurisdiction, some of this activity may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information under U.S. state law. See Section 11.2 for your opt-out rights.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, understand how it is used, and support advertising. These include:

  • Essential cookies, required for the site to function.
  • Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, which help us understand site traffic and usage.
  • Advertising cookies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and related tools, which support advertising and retargeting.

Your choices:

  • Cookie banner. We use a consent management tool to present a cookie banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, including analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your preferences at any time through the banner or preference link on our website.
  • Browser and opt-out tools. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage interest-based advertising through tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as GPC, as an opt-out of "sale" and "sharing" where required by law.

6. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries. If you are located in the EU, UK, or another region with data-transfer restrictions, please be aware that we may transfer your information to countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You may contact us for more information about these safeguards.

7. Prospect Data and Outreach

As a business-to-business agency, we conduct outreach to prospective clients.

  • What we use. Business contact information such as business name, business email, business phone, website, industry, and publicly listed role.
  • Where we get it. Publicly available sources (such as business directories and company websites) and licensed third-party data providers.
  • Why. To introduce our services to businesses we believe may benefit from them. Where GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest, having weighed it against the recipient's rights and reasonable expectations in a business context.
  • Your choices. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and honors opt-outs. You may also contact us at support@travmediagroup.com to be removed from our outreach lists, to object to this processing, or to request access to or deletion of the information we hold about you. We honor opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly and in accordance with applicable law, including the CAN-SPAM Act.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to process the request.
  • Inquiry and form data: up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless a business relationship begins.
  • Prospect data: until you opt out or object, or after 12 months of no engagement, whichever is sooner.
  • Client data: for the duration of our engagement and as required by our agreement, tax, and legal obligations.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping any account credentials confidential.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
